Rev. Rebecca with a beloved chicken.

The Rev. Rebecca Homans Blair joined Episcopal Church of St. Anne and Zion Lutheran Church in October 2022 in a yolked ministry.

Rev. Rebecca moved to Stockton from Exeter, New Hampshire, where she and her husband were residing. Since 2020, Rev. Rebecca had been serving as Interim Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Topsfield, Massachusetts. Prior to that appointment, she was the Bridge Priest (interim) for St. John’s Episcopal Church in Saugus, Massachusetts, and the Chinese Congregation at the Cathedral in Boston. From 2003-2018, Rev. Rebecca served as the Rector for St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in New Bedford, Massachusetts, where she helped the church to grow and develop relationships with community partners. From 1995-2003, Rev. Rebecca was the Rector for Emmanuel Church in Cumberland, Rhode Island, where her work was to grow the congregation and to rebuild the church school.

Rev. Rebecca was ordained a transitional deacon in 1988 in the Diocese of Massachusetts and ordained priest in 1989 in the Diocese of East Carolina.

Rev. Rebecca and her husband have adult children on the west coast, and they are pleased to serve in the Central Valley. She continues to care for the garden at St. Anne’s, adding three beloved chickens. She tends to them as carefully as she tends to our parish.
